Good to see WVU resolved there Rosters Issues by giving more Scholarships than they had this year. To be fair, Holgrosen took 22 Recruits this year and put WVU above their Scholarship Limit but he explained it......
"The reason I say that is we were very selective toward the end of this process. It’s the first time in five seasons that we were able to be selective. Signing 22 guys puts us above our 85 guy scholarship limit." It must be tough letting some players go but it looks like they handled it properly!

Three players are leaving the West Virginia football team. Redshirt senior cornerback Jaylon Myers, redshirt sophomore safety Malik Greaves as well as redshirt sophomore offensive lineman Tyler Tezeno have decided to move on from Dana Holgorsen's program, a source confirmed to WVSports.com on Tuesday morning.

Myers appeared in eleven games during the 2014 season as a reserve corner and special teams player. He made four tackles against Oklahoma. Myers was part of the 2014 recruiting class after being named a junior college All-American at Hutchinson Community College in Kansas. A highly touted junior college prospect, Myers was expected to give West Virginia depth at corner behind starters Daryl Worley and Terrell Chestnut this fall. Myers has one year of eligibility remaining.

Greaves spent his first year on campus, the 2013 season using his redshirt. Last season, as a backup he appeared in just one game against Towson. The former Sandalwood High School star, Greaves battled injuries throughout his career at West Virginia. Tezeno will transfer back to his home state of Texas and play at Sam Houston State this fall. Tezeno was simply looking to land at a spot where he could earn more playing time.

West Virginia is now at 84 scholarships counting its current roster and incoming recruits or transfers.

20-70-10 rule in corporate world states that you should cut the bottom 10% of your workforce annually. Basically that you will always have poor performers. Motivation factor. Seems like college football is doing something similar.
