5 total catches, 41 total yards, spread among 4 different players. Anemic to be generous.

I realize there are far bigger problems than the black hole at TE, but you have to ask yourself--if you run a pro style offense, you're not using the TE in the passing game, and they aren't effective as blockers, why use one at all? Slap a TE number on your best reserve OT and throw him out there as a 6th OL. Oh wait--we did that--Carrigan got the start against NCSU. And we still can't run the ball. Never mind.

TE recruiting might literally be the worst in the country during Narduzzi's tenure. Im sure you can find better TEs on any other D1 team.

Krull seems to be that guy you let get off the bus first. He looks and talks a good game but his production is pretty much nonexistent, 10 receptions in 2.25 seasons.

Ahh yes--the old Dickie V "All-Airport" team-guys who look the part even if they don't play the part. Hard to say with Krull--he missed the first game, did nothing but get hurt in the second.

That said, there was way too much preseason optimism about this totally unproven player from the usual group of posters. reminiscent of the Chris Clark preseason fan club a couple years ago.
