I really like the guy from an optics standpoint. Everything about him seems like a great guy to have on one’s staff. I just think it might be time to part ways. The position group has been a mess for the last few years. We’ve missed out on countless recruits, have had players transfer out of the program, and have gotten virtually no production during his his tenure. Krull is a really nice addition, and the TE should be a pass-catching feature of a Mark Whipple offense, but year after year I’ve been disappointed in a manner similar to John Peterson as o-line coach. A lot of hype and a guy who was all over Twitter, but didn’t get much out of his players. I’m not an expert, but this is where I’m at on Salem.
