I have read and listened to so much crazy crap concerning this TB incident I can't take it anymore. First let's not act as though this kid is some hardened criminal or crazy out of control drunken fool. Did he make a mistake yes he did but let's look at what happened. He had a couple drinks he obviously wasn't drunk and if some reports are to be believed if he was a couple of months older her drives away. There have also been reports he blew under the legal level for intoxication. But over what a minor needs so were talking .02-.08. At that level he isn't even legally impaired. By all accounts if he was 5 months older he would be commended for drinking responsibly as I was by a state trooper a few years ago when I did the same thing. There are no reports he was beligerant or disruptive with the officer or was anything but cooperative.
If this kid misses anytime at all this season this program is a joke and will never be successful. The kid made a mistake not even a huge one. This is the perfect example of why this program will always be in the position it is. This is a good kid that if he waits another hour to drive home probably passes under the limit or if he stops and grabs a couple burgers is probably fine.
I am sure as time goes on there will be another incident for the moral police to jump all over and it may be appropriate at that time to do so. But for god's sake people this isn't one of them.
