I just wanted to see if anyone on here got lower level tix for nationals that they might want to sell? Most interested in Fri/Sat sessions. Thanks in advance.

I had upper deck tickets from Pitt, but turned them down and got lower bowl tickets from another school.

I have a friend looking for lower bowl. What school did you get them from?
Iowa. Pitt did not have any lower bowl tickets even for a wrestling donor. I assume Pitt had no lower bowl tickets at all for fans. Maybe Nish, but few others. Best place to get lower bowl seats is to go early on Thursday prior to first session and there will be many good seats available. Many schools have extra tickets that were not used and they are being sold outside the arena. If you do that, do not look for scalper per se , but young people selling tickets. Most are wrestlers not competing and getting rid of their school's extra tickets. Also fans are there with extra tickets that their group has and someone did not show.

I tried to buy Tix through Pitt at the end of January and they said they were sold out! So I am going to Hershey instead of Cleveland!

I've contacted a ton of schools, and not only do they not have lowers, they don't have any tickets available. I did get uppers from Pitt, but was hoping to get lowers. I'm not sure which schools will be selling in front of the arena as there really seems to be a short supply this year. I assume it's because it's a reasonable drive for the nitter fans, in addition to Ohio State having a good season.

There are always tickets available at the arena on Thursday. I have sold tickets many times on Thursday. Last year I sold 2 center of arena 10 rows up. I have been to the ncaa's for the past 38 years. There are always many tickets available. All tickets are pre sold so you cannot find any from schools now. There are many tickets that are reserved by schools and large groups, but there are always many cancellations and no shows in these large groups that will allow extra tickets to be available on the day of the event. My group is usually around 16-20 people and usually a couple of the people have to cancel because of illness or job problems at the last minute. That opens up a couple tickets each year that we sell on Thursday.

Thanks. I misunderstood part of your last post that the schools sell tickets that aren't being used. I thought you meant they had tickets from their fans' allotment that weren't sold. You've been to the ncaa's for 38 years!? What's your favorite venue/city?

I probably have been to 15 NCAAs, and have never bought tickets in advance, except for the finals. Thom 67 is correct. You can easily get tickets at the event, especially for the Thursday (all) and Friday day sessions. I don’t know if you can get tickets that easily for the finals. Most of the years I have stayed for the finals, I have bought tickets in advance. However, when the NCAAs were at Maryland, I just stayed in the field house after the earlier matches and they never emptied it. So I was able to watch the finals. I doubt that is true at most venues.
