This doesn’t make any sense. So you’re saying then that it was correct to “throw him to the wolves” against 2 far superior teams in Miami and Va Tech?

I believe the point is that prior to Max Browne going down against the Cuse, PIcket was not involved at all in the offense. He was running the scout team. It takes time to learn the offense and get enough reps to get comfortable. Clearly the staff felt that by the VT game Picket was ready to take over.
