Tom Loy CB,d the following to Pitt

Denson and Kamari are ranked around 1100 in the country on 247 and Taylor didn’t get a ranking

Plus in may he was going to commit to PedSU and then cancelled the announcement to take more visits, specifically Michigan. However, he committed to Pitt and cancelled the UM visit.

I don't really care what these outlets have a kid ranked, its the schools that want him that matter.

He was going to commit to PSU but was told they would not take at the time, with said I am a big fan of this kid.

Offer sheets are dumb. Many listed offers are bogus. I prefer to judge based on what OVs are scheduled and/or what schools are sending coaches to visit the kids. Kamara having OVs to Michigan and MSU and legit interest from Penn State means much more than a non-committable "offer" listed from LSU that every 3 star in Florida will list

It wouldn't surprise me if true with the kid who had psu offers. A few weeks ago pitt had offered several defensive ends but only 2 had commitable offers. Some schools are going to be more selective at certain positions.

Other than the fact an article from a PSU centric paper says the exact opposite and goes on to say how PSU is still his favorite even though HE is unwilling to announce his commitment at this time. Again read the above posted article, he clearly had a committable offer.

Wiltfong on 247 has reported on it since it happened. He was set to announce but PSU was not prepared to take his commitment without camping and he took it as a slight.

So a local PSU propaganda machine with a local writer says its one way with quotes, but a national guy with no quotes and a bias to his subscribing throngs of PedSU minions says its not true. Ok I now believe you. Thanks for the clarification.

The guy who covers recruiting for a living and has actual connections in that world.

You expect the kid to say I wanted to commit but they told they could not take it right now and wanted me to hold off.

I have connections in that world and I can tell flat out Pedo State wanted the kid. Do you believe the bullshit your actually spewing right now?

I obviously love a good troll roast and it makes me smile that the favorite board whackadoo who normally posted 30-50 times a day has been noticeably absent the past several days. Interesting that it corresponds with some good Pitt news and momentum...no chicken-littlin' to do, I guess. HTP.

The poster you're referring too, as well as several others, will come crawling back here from under their rocks soon enough. Because they ALWAYS do.

Recruiting has gotten complicated. Offers are very often not committable at the time. They're more a way of showing and gauging interest. Every team has a board of preference at each position and of course, desire the kids at the top of the board, but need plan Bs and Cs because only a % of those plan As commit to your school. The coaches have to make a lot of tough decisions to maximize their class.

Wait for what? He was taking OV's into January and visited PSU the week after Michigan. He walked out of his OV with Pitt and committed to Michigan then next day.

I swear, you guys.
The way I understand it, Hudson was ready to commit to PS the summer before his senior year, and they slow played him because they weren’t sure if he was a safety or a linebacker and wanted to wait for his senior tape. It turned him off and although he entertained PS later in the process, Michigan made him a priority and they won out.

With Kamara, PS and Michigan offered him because they loved his junior film but PS wanted to look at him in person at their camp first. They didn’t communicate that to him properly, and he was ready to commit earlier this spring before they told him that they wanted him to camp instead. It soured the relationship and he didn’t consider them after that. Make no mistake, though, they offered him because they loved his tape.
