Read earlier today basically a game time decision. Brown too.

I know this is probably a pipe dream- at some point Ellison has to (?) have an effective game. Not necessarily be a star - but be effective. He’s obviously struggling- but I believe he’s a better player than what he’s showing. HCJC names him captain for a reason and he had some success at St Johns. JWF and Sidy seem to have found their form a bit- it would help immensely if Ellison found his game.

Tonight would be great time to have the storyline be the upperclassmen led the way to a big home win.

Hoping you're right...I've kind of looked at this game as a potential win that could catapault Pitt forward to an interesting rest of the season. Will be in the Burgh next weekend for NC St......hopefully the second consecutive Saturday W.

Not to be a Debbie Downer , but unfortunately Ellison hasn’t had one rotation where you didn’t want to see him taken out .

We are in the minority but I completely agree.

I wouldnt play Brown against Syracuse anyway. He's a net negative against them. He wont be able to catch a pass and if he does catch it, he cant jump quickly enough or high enough to get his shot off without being blocked.

If he plays, they have to be instructed to not pass it to him and if he gets the ball, he cannot shoot it. It will get blocked

He can shoot it, but they need to be jumpers and hooks not in traffic.

Easy catches and shots with space.

For Brown to be effective, that has to be the recipe.
