Will take flak for his shooting tonight. Both from the floor and the FT line (although he made a couple big ones late). It was a rough shooting night for him no doubt.

But Toney played very tough D on Nwora for much of the game. Nwora came in averaging about 18 log I believe. Pitt held him to 2-14 from the floor. Holding him to 9 total points was key.

So #5 played HARD and made a solid contribution to the win despite the off night shooting it.

He is one of our key players for the future. I have no beef with him.

Kudos to him for hs great defensive job last night!

And, IMHO, in a better environment with stronger bigs inside he should get more and better open looks for his outside shot and be more effective offensively.
