The countdown to training camp is inside one week, as Pitt will take the field next Monday for the first practice of camp. Today we kick off our training camp preview coverage with a look at the five key position battles we'll be watching this month. To wit:

Cornerback
Defensive tackle
Wide receiver
Right tackle
Star linebacker
