I cant keep up. Can someone do a comings and goings thread? I tried but couldn't do it. I'd be interested to see who we all lost (including to the NFL) who still had eligibility (even Covid year eligibility) and also the transfer-ins
It's been a net positive in the portal so far, I think. Lost Jules, Okunlola, and Kamara off the two deep, and that's basically it off the top of my head (not counting the guys who declared for the draft or ran out of eligibility, obviously).
But with the numbers being what they are, I'm a little shocked they took George and Temple and Collier back (or at least they all said they were coming back), plus took another backup TE, plus took a depth lineman, plus are hosting multiple linemen (among other positions) this week. But, as I said in another thread, they usually know something we don't when they make these additions. Hope we don't lose any more players we don't actually want to lose.

Psh, you wanted to run the whole team off. We're still bringing back many of last year's players. In theory, every single starter except for about five at the most will likely have been on last year's team. And five might even be a high estimate.
I'm off the ledge because a lot of guys didn't transfer.
I think it’s pretty clear they want to bring in a CB. The kid from Temple is a possibility.
Did anyone see what we lost in the defensive backfield ? I wouldn't mind adding two more after that.
True, but you have to think we're approaching "if not now, then when?" time for guys like Battle, Biglow, Crumpley, and Royal. I know they haven't all remained at CB, but they were listed there at one time or another. If we're going to roll with two transfers + maybe Gandy and/or Harrison, that space is going to have to come from somewhere.
Yep. Some of the young guys have to develop .
