Travis Steele out at Xavier

XU has had a pretty damn good run of picking good coaches. Steele not being terrible, but certainly below their expectations.

With Miller and Mack being available it will definitely be interesting how they move forward.

I'm going to make a prediction: Jamie Dixon isn't going to be at TCU next year. I think he lands at one of these places, not necessarily Xavier, but that would be quite appetizing for him. He is a loyal guy and probably didn't like being told he couldn't interview at TCU. Plus, the Big 12 is too tough. He could have Xavier as Big East #2 in no time.

You said Buzz would be interested in Pitt because the SEC is too tough. Now you have Jamie Dixon leaving TCU because the Big 12 is too tough. Please tell me what coach has left a P5 conference for a lesser job. Not being fired but leave like Buzz did at VT for A&M. The only one I can think of is Underwood from OK St to Ill.

Point is coaches don't leave because their conference is too tough.

TCU to Xavier isnt a lesser job. Its a step up....and in a lesser league. I'm just using Xavier as an example though because I think this is the year Dixon jumps.
