I realize Tray wasn't an all-american, an all-conference, or even a guy that any team could look at as it's first option.
But, let's be real: I'd take Travon Woodall over every G on this team last year - easily. I think it's rather comical - and somewhat disrespectful, though I'm not the easily-offended type - to say that Tray 'wasn't a very talented kid' and had 'a lot of limitations'.....yet continue to cape for Chris Jones as if he is someone that he obviously isn't. I realize the discussion was regarding Josh Newkirk (sidebar: Anyone want to blame his regression on Dixon? The latter always gets credit for kids improving; consequently, he should get panned for kids going the other way, in fairness), but it seems that Tray Woodall would be picked over Chris Jones 8 times a week if objective people were picking squads.
Anyone want to make a side wager on if Chris Jones has a better career than Woodall? I'll take the latter....at any amount.
Recency bias....that's all it is.
