They have lower level luxury suites similar to the Pete. Its the closest thing I've ever seen to the Great Pederson Mistake. But, they were a little smarter than Pederson and raised them ABOVE floor level so you have 3 rows of REGULAR seating THEN the boxes, which have 3 rows of seating.

Stony Brook did a very nice job. It doent look totally embarrassing like the Pete's boxes look on TV. With all the money Barnes wants to spend on facilities, hopefully he notices what SB and how good it looks and saves a million or 2 to undo Pederson's mistake.

Huh? I was there and that was one of the questions I was hoping would be asked ans I didnt hear that. They are spending $4 million on a ribbon LED thing and getting a new floor so I dont see how making some permanent changes to that area would cost "too much to justify." An LED ribbon thing would be cool but it would far better help the fan experience if Pitt actually had people sitting behind the benches and not empty space. It looks so bad.

My mistake, I skimmed your post and thought you were simply referring to the TV camera orientation (which Werner asked Barnes about; ).

As far as making the changes you are hoping for, I fail to see how fixing something that simply 'looks bad' really betters the fan experience that much. And that's to say nothing of how much it probably cost (a significant structural re-design like that would cost much more than a million or two).
