#TurnOnTheL19HTS

I’m surprised that Penn State troll wasn’t on top of this.

"turn on the lights the party is just starting for PITT football"

A familiar tune with some new lyrics!

"it's five o'clock somewhere"
SIgned: Mr Buffett
Go PITT & CSU Rams!

Miami Northwestern High School. Past and present hotbed of talent. Nice to have an in-road there.

Kid is explosive. Has the quickness and physicality that you expect to see from a kid from Miami. Will need to put on some weight, without losing the quickness.
Love that he is from S. Florida. Says he will immediately begin recruiting other S. Florida guys he knows.

Agree he looks explosive. Can really run. With a RS year he should put on good weight and keep the speed and quicks.

The only problem with that thought process is the kid is not 6’0. He’s as tall as Narduzzi which is no more than 5’10. Putting on 40lbs on a 5’10 frame and keeping up his speed is going to be very difficult.

To play the star lb he does not need 40 pounds. We have a # of guys around his height who came to Pitt around the same size and put on good weight. Idowo, Bright (just did it this past year).

This kid is explosive and has stood out against some of the best HS talent in the country. Khaleke Hudson is doing very well at Michigan, and is about 5-11, 205 lbs. You don’t have to be big to the play that position.

You’re right. We should cherish huge recruiting wins over UAB, Air Force, and Appalachia State.

Everybody wishes the kid well and hopes he turns into a star. I don’t think most of us are upset that he was a “take” for this staff.

The concern comes when it’s June and he’s their first recruit. This is the time for “Plan A” recruits....and his offer sheet is depressing. Exposure is not this kid’s problem as he plays for a top school and plays against top schools, so why doesn’t he have a bigger/better offer list.

This kid is a take in Nov/Dec after you strike out on plan A recruits imo. If he truly is a plan A recruit, then I wonder what the hell Narduzzi sees in him that 60 other P5 schools don’t see?

Is Pitt his only P5 offer?!

The following in recent years have had no P5 Offers:

Araujo-Lopes, Rafael
Aston, George
Blair, Rori
Blewitt, Chris
Briggs, Dennis
Caprara, Mike
Conner, James
Dintino, Connor
Idowu, Oluwaseun
Jackson, Dane
Jarrett, Tyrique
Motley, Phillipie
O'Neill, Brian
Taleni, Jeremiah
Weah, Jester
Webb, Terrish
Winslow, Ryan
Wirginis, Quintin

DW had a lot of them too. Here are a few:

Alecxih, Chas
Mustakus, Gus
Romeus, Greg

Let's see if the kid can play first....

So should Pitt change their strategy to go after kids with no offers, or try and play the percentages and go after kids with high ratings and multiple P5 offers?

Would you like to see the list of kids with no offers who were a complete waste of time? Trust me, it’s much larger than the list of successes. June and your first commit shouldn’t be the time you take a verbal from an under the radar kid.

Pitt should continue to pursue high level recruits and the fans should trust that the staff knows more about the kids they're offering than any message board poster.

Check with me in December about the recruiting class.

The majority recruits under HCPN have multiple P5 offers. It's a much higher percentage than Pitt was getting under HCPC.

He stands out on his tape. Cant complain about a quick LB. Lets hope he doesn't blow up on the recruiting scene now.

That list isn't evidence of success. It's actually the other way around.

His height is why he's under recruited. As long as he can to get around 215-220lbs and maintain quickness that's enough.

I don't care if he's 5"10" or 6" if he can run, diagnose and tackle.

Absolute lol at this list. Most (essentially everyone except O'Neil) of the players were pedestrian, at best. Some are kickers and walk ons. A lot of these guys couldn't even play for some awful Pitt teams and position units.
