In news that definitely does not excite the Temple fan side of me, Tyler Sear has announced via Twitter that his sideshow has landed in Philadelphia. You may recall that he initially committed to Temple, only to bail on that commitment to sign with Pitt. I need not recap the subsequent drama surrounding him at Pitt that culminated in him leaving the program. I suppose that given the coaching turnover at Temple since his initial recruitment, he figures he could hoodwink the new head man. (Then again, longtime assistant Ed Foley, whose responsibilities include tight ends, was retained, so maybe Ed sees something in Sear that he hopes to salvage.) I need convincing. I'm betting on Sear bailing on the Owls once again.
