Watched his interview (Pitt site) and read the transcript of it (front page here). Definitely one of the players that it should be very interesting to watch this season. The DT's as a group have elicited a fair amount of praise from the staff in camp. Hope their play as individuals and as a group is worthy of that once the games start and it holds up all season long.

But Jarrett is really a pretty unique cat. Have to see if his stamina and endurance have improved enough for him to be able to play enough reps at full speed to be a factor. He really has played very little the past 2 years (especially his true FR year when he only played a few plays in the first couple of games) to be able get much of a sample size to gage his capabilities. Maybe he was in the doghouse because of conditioning under the last staff, but really don't know? Now he's a true JR (was never RS'd) but with not much actual playing experience.

However, with the new HC, DC and DL coach, Jarrett appears to have been given a fresh start. With that size/girth, he should be very difficult to move out to create holes and also ought to be able to eat up blockers to help jam things up at the L.O.S. and create gaps for others to fill. Will he also be athletic enough and have picked up enough technique to be able to make some plays? Also he'll need (like everybody else) the good fortune to stay healthy.
