I am serious, that was the most "Pitt like" performance by this basketball program since Dixon pre Young/Artis days.

Outside of the first few minutes, and a bit of a stretch in the 2nd half, they executed on offense so well, they played good defense, rebounded well. And here's the important thing that we used to argue as "unimportant", but making your free throws in a game like that is crucial.

That was so fun to watch. Like I said on the pay board, I seemingly held my breath the last 15 minutes, but hey that is why we watch sports, right? For the excitement and unknown.

I watched it via DVR after a dinner with friends (I would NEVER have done that 10 years ago!) was quickly surprised at the defensive hustle and physical attitude from our guys. Then saw Ithiel getting sharp passes that produced a quick 9 points from the newly installed sniper. Got a bit nervous with some silly TO's against their late pressure. But we made the FTs. Really enjoyed the game. My guess is Hubert will be in deep trouble...those fans expect excellence as their right.
So much more fun to enjoy these last few games and avoid the HC situation.

Right. The game usually reaches a point where one can make a pretty solid guess on how many points will be needed to win.

When I get home tomorrow night, I'll have to watch the game and see how it was played. I have it DVR'ed. But it will be enjoyable to watch, I'm sure. Too bad I couldn't watch it live. That's more fun.

That is funny because I kept telling my wife 70 will win this game. Her enthusiasm was not as high as mine but she has to listen.

it was one of his better
games, BUT.....7 TO's is a
bad #, especially for a
lead guard. Of course 9
assists is very good, but
you can bet Capel will
address 7 TO's.

He’s not the guy who should be directing the offense …..they desperately need a true pg who can shoot from 3 .
