That can't hurt. Look ahead game for them.
Love the 9 pm weekday games. Gives time to get some good food beforehand.
So UNC isn't good. Don't let the uniforms scare you. They aren't an NCAAT team though they may get there due to the weak bubble. The bubble is significantly weaker than it was last year, which is why Pitt is pretty safely in at the moment.
I think Pitt will win, maybe comfortably but we also certainly can lose if we don't play well. Inotherwords, this is no lock.
UNC is a great matchup because:
- they refuse to defend. 16th in the ACC in defense
- they don't offensive rebound, they are 16th, we are 15th
- they don't shoot the 3 well
- they have maybe the worst big guys in the ACC. Rarely will Pitt have an advantage underneath but they will in this game.
- UNC has chemistry issues and I am starting to wonder if RJ Davis is the problem. Remember, he and Caleb Love couldn't play together. Now they have 1st Round freshman guard Ian Jackson and I think there's some issues there. I watched the BC game today and Jackson didn't start the 2nd Half and the announcers commented on his body language. He also didn't play much in crunch time. They did go offense for defense for him on occasion as he doesn't seem to be able to defend.
BC was up 4 with 25 seconds left and somehow UNC is shooting to win the game. UNC ended up winning in OT. Terrible blown game by BC. Up 4 with 25 seconds left, UNC cuts to 2. BC 5 second call. UNC bucket. BC turns it over. RJD misses 35 footer. UNC wins in OT
