He's very good. Could spell trouble next week unless our line steps up big time.

He was a 2nd team all American last year according to some sites. So yes, he is good. He's very good. Could spell trouble next week unless our line steps up big time.
Hopefully, the coaches spent this off week working on some basic tackling skills. I'd like to see us perform a lot better in that aspect than we have been. He's very good. Could spell trouble next week unless our line steps up big time.

Duke also looks kinda bad.
I do love early game posts.Duke also looks kinda bad.
I mean, I did have multiple responses referencing UNC fading and never said anything about it being over. Duke was looking bad at the time.I do love early game posts.

Not saying I'm right, but I would have went for that. If a field goal could only tie it, fine. But one big play (maybe a lot to ask from this offense; I get it) and you lose now.
I would have too.
Especially with that way UNC was - more specifically: wasn't - tackling late in the game.
Pitt perennially stops the run. They’ll do it again next week.
We were 86th in rushing defense last year, and are 47th this year with half of our opponents being teams that would have trouble winning games in the WPIAL.
We can hope that we will stop the run next week, but I'm not so sure we should expect it.
I would love to see a kickoff return without a holding penalty.Hopefully, the coaches spent this off week working on some basic tackling skills. I'd like to see us perform a lot better in that aspect than we have been.
I think a UNC win requires them to run the ball and get some turnovers which is entirely possible. If this game was at home, I think Pitt wins by double digits.
Yep. UNC is going to need a lot of things that you can’t really project, for them to win.
Turnovers
muffed punts
Etc
The talent levels for UNC and Pitt are fairly equal. I would say we are a 1 or 2 point favorite. If we dont play well, we can lose.
They gave up 70 points to James Madison.I'm sure they have more talent overall, because we don't have much. But we do have better coaching and a better QB, so we might win on a weighted average basis.

Right. They also won at Minnesota. Minnesota lost by just 3 at current #10 Michigan yesterday. They gave up 70 points to James Madison.
We are more talented than we thought. The QB and WRs are legit. LB's are playing way better than anyone thought. Our issues are on the DL and OL, and those aren't places you want to be weak.
The line was already long-published when you posted this, but we opened as 2.5 point favorites. The talent levels for UNC and Pitt are fairly equal. I would say we are a 1 or 2 point favorite. If we dont play well, we can lose.
Who is this "we: you speak of? Some here have said all along there is plenty of talent on Pitt's roster. We are more talented than we thought.
Should have said with the exception of last year. You and I could have put up yards against last year’s team.We were 86th in rushing defense last year, and are 47th this year with half of our opponents being teams that would have trouble winning games in the WPIAL.

This year they’re getting into the backfield they just have to wrap up on tackles. If they fixed that this week they’ll be in good shape.
and their RB ran for 150 and 3 TDs.They gave up 70 points to James Madison.
