Unc screwed on onside attempt

Yeah, bad call.

No guarantee they would've scored and gotten a 2-point conversion.... but they got screwed on that call.

Wow. They refs were the ones who screwed up. More horrendous ACC officiating. How do you make a call that ridiculously bad? Nobody was even inching towards offsides.

Now if you're just referring to the recovery. Yeah, I have no idea how Carolina didn't fall on that easily.

Absolutely no guarantee. But the fact that we have to have this conversation multiple times a year about officiating is ridiculous.

The committee will drop Clemson to number 2 over this
If so they should all be relieved of their jobs and never be allowed to be involved with football again. You're right, it may happen. But that is so ridiculous that that is an option.

I don't think so.

Even with that call... they still had an 8-point lead and only a minute to go. They played a much better team than Alabama played today. They outgained UNC 608 to 382. The game wasn't as close as the score.

608 freaking yards. They're the only undefeated team in the country now.

The committee might drop them... who knows... .but it would be a mistake to do so.

Exactly why I think it's ridiculous. First off, I think UNC is better than Florida. IMO Alabama was the easiest team to beat in a championship this season. Like you said, Clemson is freakin' undefeated. The committee would get a huge F, failing miserably, if Clemson is not by far the #1 seed.

Clemson is the only team in the country with wins over THREE Top 10 teams. ND, FSU, and UNC. Schedule, record, and eye test... they're the best team in the country.

I think it is Clemson and MSU in the Orange.... and Alabama and Oklahoma in the Cotton.

Agree. Matchups though, I think MSU will be a much tougher out than OU. If you're matching 1 with 4 I would like to see Clemson-OU in the Orange and the Cotton MSU-Bama. Also either way then, Clemson (more than likely) will play an opponent in the championship that would be phenomenal game.
