Uni vs SMU

Maybe I'm just a crotchety old man and jealous because the numbers that I could pick from in my day were limited, but I don't like the shared numbers -- when I think of #9 on our team, I immediately think of Louis. Which is a shame because Mumpfield is another leading player for us.
Maybe I'm just a crotchety old man but why not wear your best road uniforms (ie, gold pants with blue stripe with white jerseys) instead of these inferior ones all the time on the road?
I like alternating uniforms. However, these are hideous. I don't like all white (and if you must wear all white, at least have a darker helmet). The only bad thing about our win at Clemson in 2016 was the uniform combo.
They have those dumb white helmets, why not wear them if they were wearing this all white dumb uniform .

I like alternating uniforms....Agreed. Alternate the best home uniforms in college football at home with the best road uniforms in college football on the road and stop f'ing around with perfection to make a couple extra bucks on merchandise...
How about in 2019 Kenny Pickett, John Petrishan, and Calijah Kancey all wore #8.
I'd go with the voting preferences of those associated with the program via fandom and past play for decades instead of paid mercenaries of 2 or 3 years...Ya know, the old curmudgeons who fought tooth and nail to get back to the Script and the sweet unis of the past..
I don't think they'll be selling any extra merchandise because they're wearing white pants. It's after Labor Day.
Fought tooth and nail? Lol. Like getting the script back was akin to eradicating Communism. Not poking fun; I just thought it was funny wording. All it took was an AD with an inkling of common sense. That was a layup for her to build up quite a bit of goodwill. I'mgla that she at least saw what was so obvious.
the best was Tyler Palko putting on a pitt script sticker for the Senior bowl only to get reprimanded by the AD at pitt. im sure he wasnt too worried about it though.
I actually liked the all white unis going by looks alone. Its just that now I associate the all whites with the crushing loss to Wake Forest.
I miss the Blue/Gray All-Star Game on Christmas. Seeing all those decals on the helmets a staple of young SMF's Christmases. Then the Hula Bowl at 3:30. Those were the days.
