Uniform combo

What did you guys think of the gold jerseys/ white pants combo? I'd say we finally see the gold jerseys with the blue pants with this current uniform soon.Maybe Thurs? I like the current uniforms..What scares me is what they might be wearing next year.I'd hate to see any real crazy crap.But a lot can be overlooked by winning.Was this the first game without a snap from Chad? I'm not surprised because it really wasn't fooling anyone.He ran the ball 90% of the time.

MSU had jerseys on yesterday that were mainly traditional with black accents. Pitt would be wise to check those out and find a color the compliments the current ones. I am not a huge fan of the gold jerseys with gold helmets. It's too much. Now if one were to change the helmets to blue with gold script then it would probably look better. Blue gold and blue pants would probably look ok too.

I like the gold jerseys, gold or blue pants would have been better though IMO. As for next year, I can't see Pitt getting too carried away. From what Narduzzi said they are gonna be pretty cool, but I don't expect anything ridiculous. I like a pretty traditional look so only a few minor tweaks to the current uni would be perfect.

The gold color of yesterday's jersey was not that impressive. It looked as if it was almost "faded" in color. Come up with another shade of the gold that will match better with the teams helmet's and it would look better.
Personally, I'd have liked to see them make this game with UNC something special. Either break out the old mustard yellow and royal blue uniforms of Dan Marino days or go with an all black Pitt uniform with the gold and blue trim.

I agree with you guys the gold jersey looked bad.Not as bad as the all gold a few years ago, but bad.Winning helps make it not look so bad.But it wouldn't surprise me if they break them out at least one more time with the blue pants sometime.

I wouldnt mind the gold jerseys if they popped a bit more... They're just a bit too dull, color wise. The white pants don't do them any favors either, and think that the blue pants would look better than white.

I liked the gold jerseys and white pants. I'd like to see more blue in the gold shirts though - maybe like stripes on the sleeves or continue the pants stripe up the jersey...

Liked the gold/white better than the all whites...
