WTF. I’m not sure he could make a roster in a bad Euro league.
Wow. I honestly feel really bad for him if he truly thinks he can make the NBA. I remember I was in 7th grade when I realized my boyhood dream of making the NBA wasn't happening. I feel like he's that kid who hasn't had that realization yet.WTF. I’m not sure he could make a roster in a bad Euro league.
Guy was like the 10th man on a crappy Nebraska team.
And that was not exactly a Gonzaga-esque roster he’s was buried on.This past season:
0 games started
5.5 PPG
He’ll make a hell of a lot more in some godforsaken Balkan league than he’s making now, and I’m sure that’s his plan - to go pro in Europe.Wow. FWIW, he absolutely cannot play in a good European league and certainly not the G League. Could he make a team in a bad league like say Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria.....possibly. But those guys make almost nothing.

I don’t think he’s a guy who stands to get paid to play basketball anywhere. He’ll make a hell of a lot more in some godforsaken Balkan league than he’s making now, and I’m sure that’s his plan - to go pro in Europe.
Apparently even less than he did under a bad coach.I'll always wonder what he might've done under better coaches.
He did. He transferred to Nevada then Mussleman left. When he was at pitt, i thought there was some merit to his game, but it was also pretty obvious he was a step slow and just not explosive enough to be an ACC contributor. Not sure why he didnt just transfer to a mountain west or A-10 school or something.
Good luck to you .I'm entering the draft, too. F it. I have about as good of a chance as him at being selected (or making a livable wage playing basketball anywhere, for that matter).
He's a Canadian. His best bet is playing in that new Canadian league. He can maybe, maybe make 30K there. Most good leagues overseas limit the number of US players. Hard to imagine 2 better players not taking the spots before him.
He could have squeezed a free graduate degree out of sticking around the college game. It would serve him well in the future, because I don't see him making a living as a player.

I got no responses 3 years ago. Tried the transfer portal this year Same sh1t.I'm entering the draft, too. F it. I have about as good of a chance as him at being selected (or making a livable wage playing basketball anywhere, for that matter).
No clue, but he's been in college 4 years.Does he already have his Bachelor's? It's a little less jaw-dropping if he at least has that. But yes... he still should have taken advantage of as much free schooling as possible.
He will not make enough to "cover expenses." He will play for the European equivalent of the Washington Wild Things. Inotherwords, he'll make almost nothing and have to have a real job to cover expenses.I'm sure he'll land somewhere overseas where he can play. Maybe he just makes enough to cover expenses (which is probably the case for most of these kids). At worst, he gets to spend some time overseas doing what he loves until reality sets in and he has to get a regular job like most of us.
As for his mention of the draft, I'd assume this is more to get his name out there. I doubt he believes he has any chance to get drafted.
Maybe not. But who cares? If he wants to continue doing what he loves and is willing to make sacrifices to do it, more power to him.He will not make enough to "cover expenses." Yeah, imagine that? We should all be so lucky and courageous in life.Maybe not. But who cares? If he wants to continue doing what he loves and is willing to make sacrifices to do it, more power to him.
While they steal from their employer.Yeah, imagine that? We should all be so lucky and courageous in life.
Funny how the most critical of people are the ones spending hours out of their day fantasizing and posting about utter nonsense to complete strangers.
Wow - NBA? Ha Ha Ha...
If courageous is running alone with a sword at a 500 man army holding automatic guns, this man is a brave brave man.Yeah, imagine that? We should all be so lucky and courageous in life.
