*offense - just unacceptable. the running game perked up along the season and that's a nice positive to build on. but we're also losing 2 starting RB's and 3 OL (maybe that's a good thing). across the board garbage. these stats bare out that there is no way watson should keep his job. a scenario where heather needs to step in, if pat wants to be stubborn and keep him.
*defense - huge variability on performance. the stats got better during the season and you could see it on the field. i'm not saying the stats are great but at least they trended in the right direction during the season. huge problems getting opponents off the field the first half of the season, but it improved, even against clemson. i don't see a compelling reason to change staff.
*penalties - what a disaster. that's on coaching, across the board. but the offense's penalties were beyond ridiculous. shot ourselves in the foot over, and over, and over. i don't know what the answer is but this is an indicment on focus and attention to detail. fundamentals.
