F. That's awful.Miles Robinson torn Achilles playing on crap MLS turf.
out for the World Cup. Devastating.
Maybe that's why Kenny opted not to play on that turf.Miles Robinson torn Achilles playing on crap MLS turf.

Damn. He’s one of those guys that flies a little under the radar but we’ll probably notice when he’s not there.Miles Robinson torn Achilles playing on crap MLS turf.

This opens the door for John Brooks. I really like Miles Robinson but Brooks is a starter in the Bundesliga going up against world-class forwards every week. He had been horrible for the US though.Damn. He’s one of those guys that flies a little under the radar but we’ll probably notice when he’s not there.
I was shocked when I got to Charlotte and noticed they had switched to a turf field. Why? The weather is good in Charlotte and they had an MLS team coming. I dont like all these turf stadiums in MLS.I have torn my Achilles. It happened on turf also. But I blame age for my injury. No professional soccer team should play on turf.
I read an article about Brooks before this injury the other day. Obviously this opens the door for him to get a roster spot if Berhalter bites the bullet and decides to roster him and it’s something Brooks was hoping for. He’s one of the more experienced guys in our pool and that can be critical, especially on the back line. His season at Wolfsburg has been hot and cold, and he’s likely playing his last games there as Wolfsburg isn’t bringing him back. Who knows where he will be playing in the Fall prior to the WC. He may be in a crap league. This opens the door for John Brooks. I really like Miles Robinson but Brooks is a starter in the Bundesliga going up against world-class forwards every week. But Robinson beat him out, the MLS guy WAS BETTER so Brooks lost his job, playing against world class forwards didn't help. This opens the door for John Brooks. You need to stop this mantra. It’s old and tiresome. It’s a weird hang up for you. Let it go.But Robinson beat him out, the MLS guy WAS BETTER so Brooks lost his job, playing against world class forwards didn't help.
Jason Davis was talking a little Cameron Carter-Vickers on Sirius today as a replacement. He has been reported to have a bang up year in Scotland with Celtic. Didn't realize he was still a Spur. You need to stop this mantra. It’s old and tiresome. It’s a weird hang up for you. Let it go.
by the way, it can just as easily be an indictment on Berhalter as it is on Brooks.
brooks probably isn’t going to be rostered anyway. For a guy like Berhalter not to take a guy like Brooks, even now, a guy who has World Cup experience that could be helpful on a virtual u23 team , speaks to the fact that there’s something else going on that we aren’t privy to.
the spot that Brooks isn’t going to get might very well go to another euro based player. So there’s that.
SMF was doing the same thing as I am in reverse, in his case saying Brooks should be better based on where he plays. You need to stop this mantra. It’s old and tiresome. It’s a weird hang up for you. Let it go.

I don't have any problem with selecting a Euro player, just that some people have the idea that everyone in Europe is a better player than anyone in MLS, some people say that.the spot that Brooks isn’t going to get might very well go to another euro based player. So there’s that.
Yeah we know. A few weeks ago you claimed everyone says that, until we pushed back. I think everyone reading this thread is very disappointed that Robinson, an MLS player, is likely out for the World Cup. Well all of us except maybe SMF. It’s hard to understand how he thinks.I don't have any problem with selecting a Euro player, just that some people have the idea that everyone in Europe is a better player than anyone in MLS, some people say that.
There are a significant number of people that will argue that on Facebook discussions about USMNT, easily the majority of people on those pages, so no, I'm not imagining it, it's real.Yeah we know. all of this said, Carter-Vickers is probably gonna get first dibs at the roster spot vacated by Robinson. As far as the starting job though, who knows. It’s probably our deepest position, but everyone’s been hurt too (Richards, Long, etc).
Took my daughter to the NY Red Bulls game Saturday night and he looked fairly recovered to me. He even scored a goal. I had to check because I thought he was still out. Edit: apparently he’s been back for a while. I wasn’t tracking.I'm interested to see how Aaron Long continues to rehab his achilles. He is back and before he blew his out, he was a top notch CB and mainstay on the back line.
The people you interact with, regarding the Steelers and soccer, have to be the most misinformed sports fans on earth. I don’t know who these people are you claim to interact with in your posts. It’s like we live in different realities. There are a significant number of people that will argue that on Facebook discussions about USMNT, easily the majority of people on those pages, so no, I'm not imagining it, it's real.
He was getting sniffs from Europe before the achilles injury. West Ham was reported to be heavily sniffing around and there was a potential I think it was $3million offer to Red Bulls for him.Took my daughter to the NY Red Bulls game Saturday night and he looked fairly recovered to me. It’s interesting being able to see the size difference of players in person, particularly for center backs. He looks pretty well put together but moves decently too (*against MLS competition).

He was? Wow. Would love to see him at a club like west ham. Won’t happen now post injury but maybe in the future. He was getting sniffs from Europe before the achilles injury. Dude. What about Tim Ream? I just read he’s played over 98% of Fulham’s minutes this year.He was getting sniffs from Europe before the achilles injury. West Ham was reported to be heavily sniffing around and there was a potential I think it was $3million offer to Red Bulls for him.

I'm a fan. Much like Puli with Chelsea, plenty of my fellow English Whites fans hate hate hate Ream and think he is old, slow and dogcrap. OH yeah he's American so he obviously stinks.Dude. What about Tim Ream? I just read he’s played over 98% of Fulham’s minutes this year.
I really don't like Derphalter. Great he helped get us qualified but I hope he is relieved of his duties after Qatar. If you remember Ream was regularly getting called up and playing in games, including the first couple of qualifiers, and then he asked to not get called up for (iirc) the second window because of "family reasons" and he hasn't been called up since.
Much like with Brooks, something happened between Ream and Berhalter and that was that.
"I claim" WTF is your problem? You actually think I'm making it up? I don't make anything up. You don't need to be a high and mighty A-hole trying to talk down to people, accusing me of making up stuff THAT IS REAL.The people you interact with, regarding the Steelers and soccer, have to be the most misinformed sports fans on earth.
