Three Pitt football players stranded in Dallas hitched a more than 600-mile-long ride to El Paso with UTEP basketball coach Joe Golding.

UTEP Basketball picked up a couple fans from Western PA today!
Saw the headline on ESPN "Stranded Pitt players..." and was thinking WTF are we doing flying commercial. Then I saw that it was just 3 players and they probably went home for the holiday.
Initially thought it would be a busload of Pitt players having to use a UTEP team bus.
