Like many, I'll be very happy with a 12-1, dare I even think 11-2, record and a trip to a NY6 bowl. With that said, the FPI has Pitt with a 22% chance to make the CFP.
To help our chances even further, UVA has a game this week at #25 BYU, followed by a game vs. #11 ND. If UVa could win both those games (especially since it does nothing to help UVa within the Coastal), that would be a rather nice resume builder if Pitt beats UVa, who could enter a game like that ranked b/t 15-20..
I'll be rooting really, really hard for Wake to enter Charlotte at 12-0, as well.
And before anyone posts "Miami" or "focus on Miami", I don't play for Pitt. I'm a fan, like of all you, so I'm allowed to think ahead.
