I am not doke. I did say I have select posts saved on my desktop from select posters over the years for reference. Putt began posting in 2003, DT is far off. Putt disappeared. He came back in September 2007. I had a dm with him then. He left again. Putt had info no one had. I still have it from some of his posts. For example, How many people know how Fields fell so far under the radar? How about Young? Where did the videos and stats origi nate in aukland from Adams? How about acit or the chsaa history or the nepsac? Where did dixon discover wanamaker? Putt had 10+ page preseason big east reports he posted yearly before the season started, better then any magazine. I have his actual posts. He had a connection at hoopscoop, another in NY, he ran another board too. You guys forget much on Putt12. All this was Putt. And doke was highly jealous of him. I have some on bman, doke, and select others. Simmer quit posting after Cassin Diggs failed. Test me or try to answer those questions above. Anyway,. I read Vader and rejoined this board. I still think it's Putt. We shall see.

I don't know anything about his politics and frankly, I don't care.

I do remember he had what sounded like a fairly dangerous, obsessed stalker who was making threats.

I wouldn't publish pictures of my self if that were the case.

Have people forgotten chairmanoftheboard? He is surely up there with B-man. And here's a shoutout to thirteennine, who only posts on a blue moon. But there is no need to despair. There are still many knowledgeable posters, including coaches, on the Basketball Board.

chairmanoftheboard and thirteenNINE are/were 2 of the best that I've ever read on here. Very knowledgeable. Along with Harve. What we mostly have now are posters with speculation and no inside information at all who try to post as if they know something no one else knows. That's a stretch for anyone who posts on this or the pay board.

Why don't we just let things play out and watch. Whenever it happens, we'll all know. And no one's panties get all bunched up in their cracks because of what are to be perceived tidbits of information about a bunch of kids.

I haven't followed him for a long time. For years he got VERY good infornation leaked to him from a series of assistants.

His analysis was better on football.

How should I phrase this? I don't want to start a p*ssing contest. He tends to have a high opinion of himself. Hey, that's his right. Most of us are our own best fans. .

Thanks for the kind words, but my sources were often a day behind compared to them. I get a tidbit sometimes but I always enjoyed reading their stuff.

His recruiting scoop came from one particular assistant coach who liked to talk and sell anyone who would listen - (and type publicly) on who Pitt was targeting.

When that coach left so did his “scoops “

Top Targets

Karim Coulibaly- Very Young at just 17, athletic, and has been a double double machine for Scotland this year. Good size at 6'8/ 6'9 and can shoot it from 3. Pitt should have turned up the heat on him a while ago. After strong performances at the National Prep showcase, he just put 41 points and 18 rebounds the other night. Interest has greatly picked up, and Capel has dialed it up. But interest has picked up with others too. A major target that would instantly bolster the frontcourt. When he stays out of foul trouble, he puts up the numbers. A quickly rising lefty with shooting ability and post moves aready, but where does Pitt potentially value him vs other players on the radar. Pitt is in deep with multiple highly ranked players.


There are more, but this is a short list. And Pitt is in quality shape on the short list with a lot of them, in fact, most of them. 2019 is far from over, and this doesn't touch the JC or transfer market. Capel is going to get it done

That 90% of the time he wasn't being a complete idiot, Simmer was awesome.
