Just one other thought, moving from Cannes to Pittsburgh will be a bit of an adjustment, LOL.

I'd be pleased to see one more OH.....and another DS. We'll see. I've always believed the roster will fill out at 15 or 16 athletes.
The accent is slightly different…and A LOT harder to figure aht.
I honestly can't keep track and we still don't know what the deal is with Griffin, since she wasn't even on the bench this spring. That said, it wouldn't suck at all to have another OH. There are some unthinkable scenarios where the depth would be handy.
Yeah, the south of France and the Southside are almost like being on two different planets.

Her father Dragan was a head coach for AS Monaco a few years ago, and was a setter for a bunch of clubs 25 years ago and earlier. Her older sister Bruna (26) was an outside hitter as well. Looks like she currently plays for Club KNRC out of Hungary. So there’s some pedigree in the family.
Marina is 6’-1”, so Babcock’s got 3” on her. Really excited for this.
I thought maybe she is left handed because she appears to be signing the LOI with her left hand. But, they flipped the picture.
Schumacher’s family are billionaires and reportedly financed the unsuccessful attempt to buy Babcock and the successful recruitment of other players. Wisconsin’s coach, Kelly Sheffield, is pretty much disliked by many in the sport because he always reportedly has bent recruiting rules. One year, he had two underclasswomen commit to him within an hour after first contact was allowed with them. It became a running joke that Wisconsin would get its first commitment 15 seconds after first contact was allowed. Now, there aren’t many rules to bend or break.
Schumacher started as a freshman. But this Spring she apparently was beaten out by a portal transfer and they have a HS player coming in who is generally considered already better than her. So, she is gone and presumably so is the backing from her family. She apparently has signed with UCLA.
