VB: 5:00 pm TODAY - #2 Nebraska @ #4 Penn State - Watch on BTN

This Penn State team looks so much better than when we played them. Starck is already one of the best setters in the country, better than Reilly for Nebraska. I’d put her right below the top tier of Fairbanks/Miner/Wait. And Grimes the libero is really good too. They gotta get some sort of block going to win this though.

If they can block like they did in set 3 and Jurevicius continues her 'revenge' game against Nebraska they just may upset the 'Huskers'

I agree-they're playing much better. I guess they have 5 teansfers and a freshman starting so I guess it took them a while to gel.

Reilly isn't having a great match. She's too predictable with her sets.

Plus….I believe PSU just jumped over Louisville to be 3rd seed. The Louisville- Stanford match tomorrow is huge.
Which side is the Pitt rooting interest in that one? If Louisville is the last 1 seed, they would be on our side of the bracket? If they're a high 2 seed they would be on the other side of the bracket and also lose home court for rounds 3 and 4?

We want Stanford. Don’t want Louisville to have home court the whole way through the tournament. If Stanford wins they should jump Louisville for the 4th #1 seed

Yeah, I don't like the idea that Louisville could march the whole way through the 64-team bracket and never have to leave home.

Definitely want a Stanford win....although the committee dropping Louisville from the 3rd highest seed to being pushed out of the top 4 is not a certainty. We will be the top seed assuming we beat GT and Pitt will be on the same side of the bracket as either Louisville or Stanford.

That game is at Stanford, and I believe those two played earlier this year and Louisville won, so I could see Louisville staying ahead of Stanford even with the loss. So it would be

1) Pitt
2) Nebraska
3) Nitters
4) Louisville
5) Stanford
