I just noticed that Chris Hoppe.....father of top incoming recruit Isabelle Hoppe.....is no longer with the Pitt athletic department. You probably know that he was one of three deputy athletic directors at Pitt.......and served as the administrator for three teams: men’s basketball, swim and dive, and volleyball. Has he left the University of Pittsburgh? I couldn't find anything about him from a quick google search.

His LinkedIn page shows him as still employed. He came over with Heather so maybe he moved on?
Last year, I heard that he knew his future was up in air and that he thought that it wouldn't necessarily be the worst thing for her college experience if it turned out that her dad wasn't on campus when she was. I also heard that she is heavily considering enrolling early (still in 2026, just enrolling early for that class).
He loves Dan & her HS coach is a former player of Fisher - I'd be surprised if anything changed with his daughter, even though it does look like his employment situation has changed.
