Here’s each team's record this year against the other three:

Pitt: 3-0
Penn State: 2-1
Nebraska: 1-1
Louisville: 0-4

Pitt and Nebraska is the only match up that hasn’t been played. They’ve seemingly been on a collision course all year. Fingers crossed it happens.

Frustrating that Louisville got rewarded for that.

They can win the national title by going 2-4 against the others and playing at home.

Louisville's reward is a sixth straight loss to Pitt in front of a home crowd and a national TV audience.

The sport of NCAA Division 1 volleyball has reached the point of popularity and national interest that the final 4 should never be played in a city where there is a major university playing the sport....and certainly not an arena that one of the teams has a home court advantage. Maybe by chance it just so happened this year....but it is unfair and wrong. I would pick a midwestern city like Chicago or Indianapolis to host it every year.....that's my 2 cents on the matter.

Agree.... This reminds me of the 2003 Men's Basketball Tournament where Texas was given a #1 Seed so they could play in Texas 1st 4 games - when they didn't win their League Tournament OR Regular season conference title.... but so tickets could be sold - Bob Bowlsby - Idiot.

I'd put it in a warm weather city that has a good venue, but doesn't have a D1 team.

I'm trying to just accept the fact that Louisville has a home court advantage. I take the solace in the fact that: (1) Pitt has beaten them four times in a row and (2) the most recent one was in Louisville. Objectively, Pitt is the better team, and as long as they play their game to their potential they will be playing for a championship next Sunday.
