It was a decent crowd down low but sparse up high. I wonder if the heat kept people away. I thought the place would be jammed.

ACC starting to make some noise in volleyball. 3 teams ranked and two top ten wins this season so far. FSU swept #3 Minnesota and Pitt's win today. ND just swept #18 Purdue as well and end up being the fourth ACC team in the top 25 if they keep winning. Could be a lot more interesting conference season and a lot better RPIs.

VB games tend to draw a lot of families w/ kids. IMO it is a pretty tough ask for families to go to a 8 pm vollebyall game on a school night.

This has got to be THE year if they are going to make a real run. Four seniors and two juniors are the main players, except for the freshman setter. Replacing two outside hitters and their top middle blocker after this year will be a challenge.

I was tempted to make the drive to Malibu to see them play, but we are leaving tomorrow on a 23-day vacation to Africa and Spain and there is too much still to get done. Like packing.

True, but they have a lot of young players ready to step up.As long as Fisher is the coach they'll be tough to beat year in and year out.But for now this year is the apex of this current group.
