And frankly Wisconsin would only make people mad because it’s not west coast and that’s one of the rumored reasons she’s leaving. But it’d be an understandable destination without any real animosity from Pitt fans, so yeah, blow up definitely wouldn’t apply.

It wasn't me. Her Instagram feed is interesting......still a lot of Pitt vibes there. For example....Pitt VB is at the top of her 'following' list.....and you'll find a number of her Pitt team mates there. IMO she's being pretty classy.....not burning bridges.....still posting stuff.....but it's not VB related.....and as you know there is no post saying 'goodbye Pittsburgh....I've appreciated my time here'.

I do think she has handled it well. I also admit that the amount of time that has passed without any public comment from her or Pitt, or a commitment somewhere else, has given me a glimmer of hope she could return. I also have to imagine that she is well aware of how a PSU commitment would be viewed here. Maybe she doesn’t care about that, and am not saying she should, but still.

Really thought that maybe she was recruited into the portal by a suitor. But now with the way it’s gone, I’m thinking a) she just wants paid and or b) she didn’t want to be in Liv’s shadow.

And maybe it’s both…assuming that Pitt can’t afford to pay both so off Torrie went.

Right now I think the 3 most likely destinations are Nebraska, Wisconsin., and Penn State. I do not believe she'll end up at a west coast school......and I wouldn't rule out Texas yet. Finally.....I do not believe she has dismissed the possibility of returning to Pitt. This probably won't drag on beyond the middle of next week at the latest. I'm beginning to believe she will not be at another ACC school other than Pitt. All of this is from my gut and some of what I see on Instagram.

It's possible she put her name out to test the market. Not too dissimilar to what Cat did although that was a bit different because Pitt didn't have a grad program for what she wanted and the school worked something out for her.

Dan, from your lips to God’s ears. Honestly, I think Torrey has put on a master class as to how to handle the portal. No snarky social media posts, no “cryptic” signals, silence on all fronts. She has done this with class and dignity. I think it speaks to the person she is, and how she was raised. I would think Fisher knows exactly what her plans are. I would also think that the longer this goes on, maybe the better the chance she returns. I really think she’s exploring her options, and wants to be 100% before making a decision, be it leaving or coming back. Let’s hope for the latter.

She's still on roster on the team website, fwiw. I think what you're seeing is a genuine reflection of who she is as a person and I wouldn't wish her anything but the best. I'm fine with whatever she decides. It would suck to lose a player like her but it's also not the end of the world.
