Pitt #17 (tied), PSU # 12, WVU # 20.
Unfortunately those rankings do not matter
Correct. But, I like to know what unbiased, knowledgeable people think.
Didn't notice that. Good point. Pitt also lost to Mia, FL, but they think Pitt is better at this time. I would trust their knowledge of strength of teams before most others. The fact of the matter is that LSU is that good, just underachieving bigtime. They have LSU team, a team that's unranked with 4 losses at 6 and ahead of Wisconsin that beat them. I'd say that is a little biased. Body of work does matter otherwise why play the games

They aren't trying to mimic the AP or Coaches poll that looks at resumes. They are looking at the relative strengths of the teams only. If they have LSU ranked 6 then what they are telling you is that on a neutral field with no major injuries LSU would be favored to beat all but 5 teams right now.
Personally, I think that still rates LSU too highly, but they are not trying to determine who has the best resume, but rather who the best teams actually are on the field. What they are telling you is that if LSU and Wisconsin were playing this weekend on a neutral field that LSU would be slightly favored.
