Agreed with most of what HCJC said. This is still a young team and while Trey took a step forward from last game, I think X did as well. BUT only a very small step in the sense he was “trying” to do the right things being coached, but thought way too much in first half and performed awful. 2nd half from him was marginally better as he TRIED to be more of a PG running the show. But when this happened during the game, “There was a play in this game that was late; we were up, I think it was 15, and I think we had a three-on-one break and Xavier shot a three. It wasn’t a good shot, and I think they got a transition basket out of it.” I went ballistic and said X has a long way to go. And he does, but my gut says he will figure it out w/ the help of HCJC because X respects him!! Let’s hope so because we can’t win as configured now without him...
