I’m surprised, im on record as saying this Miami team is better than last year.
UVA getting what they paid for, this program was on Kansas level when they hired Mendenhall, he is slowly putting his stamp on this team.
If/when Pitt cans Narduzzi I’d like to think they would go out and spend some money on,a proven winner.

Miami’s Offense is a mess. They switched back to Rosier. UVA got lucky with some bonehead decisions by Miami.
Miami probably should've lost to FSU last week too. Nice win for UVa for sure though. Miami O hasn't been impressive all season. Pretty sure they had three defensive TDs home v. UNC to make that a blowout. Their D though is very good. Seems like it was good again today even though they lost.
Exactly. Any given Saturday. Teams number 3-80 in FBS aren’t really that far apart when they take the field against each other.
Didn’t see one play of the game actually. That’s too bad for them as Rosier is never going to excel at this level.
People who were bashing Mendenhall based on his early results are ignoring just how far this program had fallen.

Mendenhall and narduzzi make around the same. Let's see if mendenhall can make uva some annual top 25 program. Pitt beat Miami last year as well.
Our football program is too focused on silly throwback uniforms instead of getting a coach who can recruit talent and then coach them on gameday. Our kids tried really hard yesterday, but they don't have the talent of the opposition's players on pretty much every Saturday they play. We were lucky to beat SU last week. I'm hoping that we can somehow get to 5 wins total this year, but I don't see where those wins will come from. There isn't another game we play all year that we can say is a sure win, or even a decent chance to win.
If they play like they did the last 2 weeks they can beat anyone left on the schedule. They won't win them all but that effort probably gets them a bowl spot at 6-6. Problem is they have to play like that in all 5 games and I could see 3 really good efforts and 2 where they don't really show up. Do that and they won't make a bowl. No one left is a really good team they are all average, similar to SU
Have you watched the remaining teams on our schedule? I think the remaining schedule gives us 50 50.
Fair enough, however the rebuild Mendenhall faced when he came to Virginia was far and away worse than anything Narduzzi had to deal with.

Agree. But if he stalls out at a consistent 6 to 8 win team how is that any different that what pitt is going through. Only time will tell though.
I think Pitt matches up decently with Virginia and I like them to win that game.
Doesn’t take away from the job Mendenhall has done there though given how far the program had fallen.
Nobody saying he’s Saban, but he’s a good coach and has them playing competitive football again.
