Well once again PITT is that the cusp of its own fate by beating VT next week, and beating Miami after that too, followed by Duke! We been here so many times before under many Coaches, but now shall see? Now is the time for these Coaches & Players to stand up and get it done.
VT is going to be a far tougher Team to beat under Fuente than Beamer. I think Coach Pat & Staff will be up to that task this year and years to come? Both are known fro some great game Calling on Trick Plays. Miami also lost it Top Linebackers with a leg injury? Pitt has a real opportunity to make a real statement in beating a Ranked Team next week! It would be Coach Pat Narduzzi first until we see the season end. If I am not mistaken. Cuse beat VT so it can be taken, but Coach Babers will have Cuse being better and ready for Pitt too?
We shall see?

Virginia Tech rebounded from a disappointing loss to Syracuse a week ago by dominating Miami 37-16 on Thursday night at home. The win keeps the Hokies in control of their own destiny in the ACC Coastal, thanks to having a win over North Carolina already this season. Virginia Tech has made big strides offensively under new coach Justin Fuente in his first season in Blacksburg thanks to development and creativity. Fuente's creative play-calling was never more evident than on a trick play he dialed up in the third quarter as fullback Sam Rogers took a handoff and threw a touchdown pass to fullback Steven Peoples. Trick plays are the most obvious form of creativity, but what Fuente has done to maximize the talents of Jerod Evans, Travon McMillian and Bucky Hodges has been impressive. While the Hokies were able to bounce back from a poor loss to Syracuse and keep things on track, the wheels have begun to fall off for Miami. The Hurricanes have now lost three games in a row to drop to 4-3.
