Well once again PITT is that the cusp of its own fate by beating VT next week, and beating Miami after that too, followed by Duke! We been here so many times before under many Coaches, but now shall see? Now is the time for these Coaches & Players to stand up and get it done.

VT is going to be a far tougher Team to beat under Fuente than Beamer. I think Coach Pat & Staff will be up to that task this year and years to come? Both are known fro some great game Calling on Trick Plays. Miami also lost it Top Linebackers with a leg injury? Pitt has a real opportunity to make a real statement in beating a Ranked Team next week! It would be Coach Pat Narduzzi first until we see the season end. If I am not mistaken. Cuse beat VT so it can be taken, but Coach Babers will have Cuse being better and ready for Pitt too?
We shall see?
Excerpt:
Virginia Tech rebounded from a disappointing loss to Syracuse a week ago by dominating Miami 37-16 on Thursday night at home. The win keeps the Hokies in control of their own destiny in the ACC Coastal, thanks to having a win over North Carolina already this season. Virginia Tech has made big strides offensively under new coach Justin Fuente in his first season in Blacksburg thanks to development and creativity. Fuente's creative play-calling was never more evident than on a trick play he dialed up in the third quarter as fullback Sam Rogers took a handoff and threw a touchdown pass to fullback Steven Peoples. Trick plays are the most obvious form of creativity, but what Fuente has done to maximize the talents of Jerod Evans, Travon McMillian and Bucky Hodges has been impressive. While the Hokies were able to bounce back from a poor loss to Syracuse and keep things on track, the wheels have begun to fall off for Miami. The Hurricanes have now lost three games in a row to drop to 4-3.

Compared to other passing attacks Pitt has faced, how do the Hokies stack up?
I don't have a clue, do not follow it as much anymore, so staying away from Betting Malpractice advice?

Good Topic for New Post Question so Posters on the Lair can help answer your Great Question. I would love to read the answers ans analysis? I will post a comparison prediction from Campus Insiders but won't be back until Thursday!

From the little I saw last night the QB looks accurate and has a few weapons. They have a tall receiver who projects as a tight end at the next level that could and probably will give Pitt fits. I think this one could be another back and fourth, last team to get the ball wins type of game.

Another Heart Chaser Game like PSU, OKSU, UNC, MU, GT, UVA resulting in Heartmaker PSU, MU, GT, & UVA Close Win, or another Heartbreaker OKSU & UNC Clsoe Loss Games?
We shall see?

You never want to cheer for injuries but they had a guy or two go down last night. Who knows how serious they were. Hopefully Pitt gets a little healthier with the week off. Any word on how Price is doing?

Agree with you, I always prefer ALL TEAMS AT ALL TIMES having their Best Players Playing against Pitt Players because it is the only way to compare and see how far Pitt must go to be the best by beating the Best.

Pop wanted to instilled that into Doc Sutherland and Doc Sutherland wanted to Coach against the best coaches and have his Players play and beat the Best Players too. Johnny Majors & Jackie Sherrill adopted that same philosophy. Unlike some Coaches that just want to win 10+ games every year and then play against someone real good and get beat badly later. USC & LSU beating OU, and Florida beating Ohio State as well as Miami wiping out Nebraska, or when Paterno had Undefeated Teams in 1968, 1969, 1973, and 1994 but few to none respected their Wins unlike his 1986 Teams that did beat Top Competition.

Bear Bryant, Nick Saban, Urban Meyers, Jim Tressel, Frank Leahy, and Pete Carroll never worried about anybody they played, just give them the chance to prove how good their Players and Teams are and the Coaching Laurels come after those wins.

Also, no excuses for Pitt, up to Pitt's Pat Narduzzi to have his Players ready no matter who is in the Line-Up, if it means losing now to get better later, by learning how to be better so be it.

Top Generals, Top People, and Top Coaches are not not afraid of Failure when leading their Men into Battle or among Top Competition, they abhor making the same mistakes over and failing to correct their errors. They learn by failure but never fear adapting and overcoming it and spreading that attitude to their Players.

This is why I want Pitt Team playing the Best of VT, MIAMI, and CLEMSON these next 3 Games. I want to see how this Second Year Coach in his 21, 22, and 23 Games plays against 3 teams that were Ranked and 2 still being Ranked?

Finally, one more point, do you think when Penn state had such a light schedule for Franklin the last 2 years playing many weak teams actually help learn to be a better Coach???????

No they keep making excuses like it is the Sanctions, it is OL, it OLC or OC, it is the Assistant Coaches and now DC, DLBC, it is Negative Recruiting, it is no Extensions or it is still Penn State Scandal?

Hire a Wimp Coach to beat Wimp Teams and go 7-6 and then complain why the Wimp Coach is getting blown away is a self-fulfilling Wimp philosophy of Wimp Mediocrity? If one wants or needs more proof, just look at Steve Pederson's Hires and that includes FB & BB at Pitt & Nebraska including Ben Howland that couldn't cut it at UCLA?

This is my opinion, others can differ and may have a better one and show me where my own are in error? No problem with learning that way either!

No clue on Pitt Health and Narduzzi has his Coaches & Players on MUM! Maybe other Posters know?
