Virginia Tech game

Is on a six day hold by ESPN. They put a hold on our game, Clemson at BC and Miami at Georgia Tech.

At quick glance, Clemson @ BC will probably be the College Gameday/ABC Saturday Night Football game.

Would they do an ACC game on ESPN2 opposite Clemson/BC? I think.

So, if Pitt and VT wins, I think its ESPN2 primetime. If one of us wins, we still could get it but depends on what happens with Miami and GT this week.

My guess is:

Clemson @ BC 8PM ABC

The other 2 will be either 7PM ESPN2 or 3:30 on ESPN2/U

Not many other choices for that prime time spot so there’s a good chance for Clemson-BC. Only other possibility I see is bama-miss st.

All the Big Ten games got put on six day hold as well, so that leaves games like Ohio State - Michigan State, Wisconsin - Nitters and, of course, the big Maryland - Indiana game. You also have Oklahoma - Oklahoma State on a six day hold. Alabama - Mississippi State can't be an ABC night game, because ABC does not have rights to the SEC games.

Some of those B10/B12 games go to FOX/FS1 though, not sure which

Correct. I do not know what their pecking order is for who gets what picks on which dates. I'm just pointing out that those games are all possible. I mean if ABC was interested in a matchup that looked as bad on paper as Ohio State - Purdue for a prime time game I'd have to imagine that an Ohio State - Michigan State game would also pique their interest if they have a chance to pick it.

the good news is everyone in Boston hates BC so it doesn't really count as a "Boston" team doing well...

Normally, yes but if Clemson and BC both win, that's the pick. They arent going to do 3 Ohio State Saturday Night Footballs and 2 OSU College Gamedays while doing 0 Clemson games.

Plus, College Gameday likes to go to new places. Not sure its ever been to BC. And they can promote the new ACCN

Alabama-MSU is 2:30 CBS.

Yeah I was gonna say, didn’t seem like the SEC is ever on ABC. Wasn’t sure though cause they are always on ESPN.

Gawd if I see one more MS State game televised. QB run right, left, middle. Didn't expect PSU's offense but it's boring to watch.

Yeah I mean they just beat a&m but after they lost to Kentucky and Florida back-to-back to fall out of the top 25 weren’t fans already calling for moorehead’s head? He’s got a lot to live up to, Dan Mullen was a fantastic coach there IMO.
