You have to at least match their physicality. You have to hit them with splash plays to take advantage of their aggressiveness.

Not sold on their QB. You do need to get pressure on him and take him down if you get hands on him. Watch for the moving pocket throwbacks.

I think we can win at home. Hopefully a game with no rain.

Virgina Tech and UNC will be tough. Maybe FSU suffers a bit in transition year. We usually play ND tough. Good style match up there.

ACC is going to be better at the top. Nc and vt are going to be pretty good. Miami always has talent it's just a question if they show up or not and their qb play.

Will be interesting to see what their defense looks like with Foster gone. They have been playing the same style for a very long time. Don't know if the replacement can continue that style or even if he will want to.

Fuentes fooled me. I thought him a finesse type coach. Tech was vRey physical on both sides of the ball. Will be interesting to see if that continues.

VT changed QBs and changed personality. That happened fairly early in the season and led to a turnaround.

Before that, people were questioning the Fuentes hire.

Pitt won their bowl game too. Sure Pitt and VT were only 3-3 in their last 6 and you guys were 4-2. I don’t think VT looks extremely strong, but they have a good group.

Read on ESPN that VT loses 5 senior starters, all on defense. Their O line was comprised of all freshmen and sophomores. And Herndon the QB was a Junior. So they should be good next year.

I don’t think he’s all that good, but definitely an improvement over the last 2 guys they threw out there at the qb position.
