In 4 sets to #4 Wisconsin. Baylor has 3 first team AAs but only one of them showed up, Aiyanna Presley. The other two were mainly invisible.

Baylor lost the 2nd and 3rd sets but got up in the 4th. When Wisconsin started to come back, Baylor tried to set Presley on every point. Wisconsin was ready for it and stuffed her 3 times late. Once Baylor fell behind, they collapsed. Wisconsin ran off 7 of the final 8 points. The one time Baylor got a point, they immediately followed with a service error.

Stanford sweeps Minnesota in the other semi. If Stanford plays well on Saturday they win. At full strength they are simply better than everyone else.
They are really good, in all facets of the game. I was impressed watching them beat Minnesota.

Yeah, they are really good. If Stanford plays at or near their peak they win. Wisconsin needs to play at or near their best and they need Stanford to be a little off in their game to win.

They were totally dominant in both matches. They have the best player in college volleyball but they never went to her too frequently. Their setter is superb.

Also, it was a pleasure listening to Paul Sunderland and Karch Kiraly. I think they are far and away the top pair of television commentators in any sport. Knowledgeable, articulate, not overly technical, have been doing this long enough to know how to explain it to people who don’t know the sport nearly as well as they do, without talking down to their audience.
