Nebraska swept Stanford 3-0 tonight. Assuming Pitt beats East Carolina Friday and Marquette Sunday......Pitt should be the unanimous number 1 team in the polls on Monday.
There is definitely talk of that but that Nebraska writer who gave them their first place vote will prob keep it thereNebraska swept Stanford 3-0 tonight. Assuming Pitt beats East Carolina Friday and Marquette Sunday......Pitt should be the unanimous number 1 team in the polls on Monday.
No, because that one dolt is going to keep giving Nebraska a first place vote.Nebraska swept Stanford 3-0 tonight. Assuming Pitt beats East Carolina Friday and Marquette Sunday......Pitt should be the unanimous number 1 team in the polls on Monday.
I think you're right....but I'll stick with my wishful thinking for nowNo, because that one dolt is going to keep giving Nebraska a first place vote.
I saw a video last night that argued for Nebraska being #1 on Monday since they beat Stanford and should beat Louisville on Sunday on national TV (will be televised on ABC).I think you're right....but I'll stick with my wishful thinking for now

Assuming Nebraska beats Louisville they will get a handful of votes from Midwest voters but I expect Pitt to get about 90% of the top votes. Would be surprised if its unanimous though unless Neb losesI saw a video last night that argued for Nebraska being #1 on Monday since they beat Stanford and should beat Louisville on Sunday on national TV (will be televised on ABC).
That was a fun match, those two teams were very even. I think the home crowd helped push it in Kansas' favor and if it was played in Purdue it would've gone the other way. Excited for Kansas v Creighton and Creighton v Purdue this weekend, those teams are all around the #6-10 range in the next tier after the big dogs so should be some really good volleyball!Speaking of other games, last night I watched #10 Kansas beat #6 Purdue, 3-1.
Keep an eye on the Jayhawks. They can play!
Nebraska will be a tough out for Louisville.....but the game is in Louisville. DeBeer has to come out of her funk (hitting .148) and she leads her team in receiving errors. She will be targeted. Luper also has to have a great match and Scott has to dig everything that comes her way. Big game....edge to Nebraska.Assuming Nebraska beats Louisville they will get a handful of votes from Midwest voters but I expect Pitt to get about 90% of the top votes. Would be surprised if its unanimous though unless Neb loses
Going to the Fitz for the Marquette game.....cell phone in hand checking the Nebraska- Louisville score. Incidentally....I see that Nebraska and Penn State end their season at Penn State the day after Thanksgiving.I saw a video last night that argued for Nebraska being #1 on Monday since they beat Stanford and should beat Louisville on Sunday on national TV (will be televised on ABC).
There's still that one voter....I hope Louisville pounds them at home in the Yum Center (LOL).Assuming Nebraska beats Louisville they will get a handful of votes from Midwest voters but I expect Pitt to get about 90% of the top votes. Would be surprised if its unanimous though unless Neb loses
Still tickets for that PSU/Nebraska game. Would love to see that be for the conference championship.Going to the Fitz for the Marquette game.....cell phone in hand checking the Nebraska- Louisville score.
