Volleyball schedule release ?

Wondering when the full schedule will be released. We obviously know about the opening weekend and the event at PPG along with date TBD match at PSU.

The season ticket email noted 12 home matches which struck me as fewer than normal. I believe they played 16 home matches last season- not counting the NCAA matches.

I can’t recall when they announced the full schedule last year - has to be pretty soon.

Edit : 2024 schedule was released June 5 and had 16 home matches ( not including NCAAs)

The 12 home matches also struck me as odd when I saw it. I think we can assume the PPG event could count as 2 more since it's in Pittsburgh even though not at the Fitz or Pete. I'm not mad about that.....more visibility, notoriety and larger attendance for Pitt VB......was likely the rationale for staging this at the PPG venue.

The 2024 schedule actually did come out sooner -- I see a release dated May 2, 2024. Hopefully we get the 2025 edition soon.

In the meantime, here's what we know from other announcements, including 4 of those 12 home matches:

• Friday, Aug. 22 vs. Nebraska in Lincoln
• Sunday, Aug. 24 vs. Florida in Lincoln
• Sunday, Aug. 31 vs. ASU or TCU at PPG
• Monday, Sept. 1 vs. ASU or TCU at PPG

• Friday, Oct. 3 vs. Clemson
• Sunday, Oct. 5 vs. Georgia Tech
• Friday, Oct. 24 vs. NC State
• Sunday, Oct. 26 vs. Wake Forest
