List from various sources posted on the Internet just a few hours ago? Please put up your own Poll if none of the names appear are listed above and add some serious alternatives. I meant to put Dan Hurley Rhode Island instead of Bobby Hurley twice, my bad.

I vote to get Bobby Hurley and his clone, Bobby Hurley.

I actually really like Bobby and think he is going to eventually right the ship at ASU, but he isn't pulling a reverse Todd Graham.

Jay Wright would never ever ever happen. Underwood off the table. Otherwise not a bad list.

I'm the only one on Brad Underwood bandwagon - I like his style as well as that of his players. Without a Walkup next year maybe it wouldn't be as difficult for him to leave Nagidoches (sp?)

Ben Jacobson from UNI should probably be in the mix, too.
Some others are calling for more considerations

Ben Jacobson, Northern Iowa
Brandin Knight, Pitt Assistant
Russell Turner, California-Irvine
Tommy Amaker, Harvard
Kevin Keatts, UNC-Wilmington
Will Wade, Virginia Commonwealth
Larry Krystkowiak, Utah State
Fran Dunphy, Temple
Kevin Ollie, UConn

Ben Howland, Missy State
Chris Beard, Arkansas-Little Rock

Mark Few, Gonzaga

Maybe Chris Beard; at least he was able to coach up a team that beat Purdue!

Wade, Keatts, and Beard are 3 good, younger coaches.

Could be Miller or Keatts

Here is the article on how Keatts brought Louisville to complete dominance in his 3 years there. I also researched and it is publicly noted he had zero connection to the sex scandal that is ongoing.

Ill take either. I think I still prefer Keatts over Miller. Cant go wrong with either. But with the ties Keatts has to Hargrave and Prep basketball, Pitt recruiting would explode.

Would Sean Miller Leave Arizona for Pitt? Excerpts & Links!

http://tigerboard.com/boards/view.php?message=13698920

Path A, is the one that Pitt fans want. They want local product Sean Miller of Arizona. They want Miller to return home to his alma mater so much that they would be accepting of Archie Miller, his lesser-proven yet still successful younger brother.

The Millers are going to come up in this coaching search. Both Sean and Archie. Sean is a Pitt alumnus, and Archie has had obvious success right down the road. How good is the Pitt job, exactly? We really don't know, because between Ben Howland and Jamie Dixon they've had continuity for like two decades without a genuine coaching search.

Then, in a hallway, a Pac-12 Conference junior staffer heard Miller say, “You’re a (bleeping) cheap-ass conference,” and “Cheating (bleeping) conference.” That doesn’t sound like a guy bullish on his surroundings.

2015 Article Excerpt Sean's Contract Excerpt:
UA had proposed that Miller will receive $100,000 extra (equaling total guaranteed pay of $2.8 million) for an additional season of 2019-20. In addition, UA initially proposed a faster track for him to receive shares in an outside retention plan worth about $6 million, should he leave UA.

I don't honestly think the next coach will be from anyone on this list or mentioned on this board, our AD is a west coast guy and has all his ties out west, wouldn't shock me if they go after a guy out west

Bryce Drew

And a name I haven't seen mentioned - Mike Lonergan from GW.

I like Bobby Hurley too I think being from jersey he'll be able to recruit the northeast, his dad is or was a high school coach in jersey maybe lots of connections, not to mention, played for coach K at Duke

Someone may hit eventfully but the K coaching tree to this point has been mostly mediocre. Capel had a cpl good years at OU I think but other than that - so far - meh.

I think every possible candidate has been mentioned from Hawaii to the East Coast, and everywhere in between.

It is going to be Archie Miller, and that is a very good hire. He was patient and didn't jump at the first school to offer him, and he will probably be at Pitt for a while.

No,it's not. He has his sights set on NC State (his alma mater) so if Pitt hires him he'll only be here until Gottfried is fired. Which probably won't be all that long.

So this Kevin Keatts cat is the reason Louisville is a power and not Rick freaking Pitino.....Interesting

-Louisville didnt have anywhere near the dominance before Keatts got there. Look it up. Back to Back Final 4's and a National Championship. 3 Top 10 recruiting classes in a row. Notice Keatts left and Louisville isnt destroying everyone like they were when he was there. When he was at Louisville, that was the pinnacle of Louisville basketball dating all the way back to Denny Crum in the 80's.

Does Keats have anything to do with prostitutes? Serious question. Because sorry, I am not a win at any costs kind of alumni
