Have my eye on an older model Mercedes SL. Read some real horror stories, but have to scratch a mid-life itch. Can anyone on the board recommend a good reasonable mechanic in the Pittsburgh area (preferably Fox Chapel, New Ken, Oakmont)? Would prefer to try and control costs and avoid the dealerships when problems arise. Appreciate any insight the board can provide.
