Cant see missing the klan rally white out game if you were that serious on them. Of course, who knows... but if he missed the Pitt/PSU game at Pitt I would be saying the same thing. Has to be a Pitt - Tennessee thing at this point.

Really? Interesting news if true. Some on here were adamant that he'd be there on an unofficial visit.

It's Pitt all the way ,no doubt in my mind.On a side note he did have a game last Saturday but maybe he wasn't going to PSU anyway.

Well, that is a good reason for missing. I didnt know that. Trust me, I dont think a soul on here thinks he is a Pitt lock.

Stache I think it was a 12 or 1 o'clock kickoff. If he wanted togo to the game he could of made kickoff at 8 but maybe he doesn't like cold rain. Nothing against Pitt CBs but I think he could start at Pitt next year.Where at Psu he might have to wait a year because their top 3 corners are underclassmen.Earky playing time has to be on his mind,so I think it's Pitt!bwdik

I think he tweeted something along the lines of he was upset he couldn't be there or is disappointed he couldn't go tbh

That is being kind to Pitt cornerbacks. He could start... this year. I think this team with Hamlin, Ford, Coleman, Miller, Wade and Whitehead is completely transformed into a legit defense, something it is not right now.

Game started at 1, ended late, team got back late and couldn't get up to SC in time. He's been on campus 13 times in the past year and will be back for his official in 2 weeks. The OSU victory probably had a bigger impact on Wade than any other recruit. He's been saying he wants to see PSU be able to compete with the big boys and the OSU win proves that.

It's TN leading the pack then PItt & PSU. Should be interesting I believe he's Knoxville bound for a mini Brian Kelly in Butch Jones.

The game started at 1:00 and someone posted his tweet about 3:00 that he was on the bus headed back to Clairton. He tweeted that he wouldn't make the PSU game because he was running late and he didn't have a place to stay. A place to stay? He doesn't know anyone in State College that would let him sleep on their floor or couch? He's got to know a football player or two who would either offer their floor or find someone else that would be willing to help. Not buying that excuse at all. I don't think he's coming to PSU...but I'm wrong quite often so we'll see.

I don't think anyone has an idea where Lamont is heading, except him and his family, if indeed, he knows yet. We are all hoping it's Pitt, but it is only an option at this point. He is good enough to have such top choices, so he needs to find a comfort zone, and what the better opportunity is for his priorities. He certainly would compete for immediate PT at Pitt, but there may be other important issues that he is considering.

Starts from day 1. Sees a team that puts points on the board and a need at CB on D. I think he comes here as well.

He is a big recruit. We need him here, but certainly tough for a top dog to hear all these schools woo him and choose to stay home.

I hope he realizes Narduzzi is the best coach he could hope for to get to the show. If Narduzzi was still MSUs DC, I bet MSU is among the leaders. Is it exciting to stay home ? Not really... but it is the right choice for him.

Out of state, play where cornerbacks can show how good they are that has Wvu and Gibby all over it.What better conference to show off your NFL skills than the Big 12!Bring me home Country Roads.

I believe Wade will be a Panther. Webb, Boyd, Mathews are all Bears that he probably looked up to. Wade in our d backfield with Ford, Hamlin, Garner, Coleman & Whitehead would be awesome!

Gibby is probably the best defensive coach in the east.

Seems to be doing a great job this year, but I can remember even your fans questioning his competence as a secondary coach a few years back. But, he doesn't have the reputation of Narduzzi as a def. coach. Pitt's program is building, and once the coach gets some really good def. backs to implement into his defense, Pitt will be pretty damn good. Wade could help satisfy that for sure. It would really surprise me if he goes to WVU.

Then Hamlin and Coleman should be playing and not worried about RS.

Well, said it before and will say it again... They were not ready or else they would be starting. I really think in Hamlin's case it was more of the case of the injury he had that kept him out a few weeks. Narduzzi then thought, better redshrt this guy. I think if he was healthy all year he would be playing.

You just said Wade could start now and if those players were playing right now we would be a dynamic defense. If that is true, they should be playing. We are playing for a division championship. The best team should be on the field.

This is going to awkward considering your team of choice has been in the league for a few years...

They don't play defense in the B12.

How could you have not noticed that by now?

Gibby is probably the best defensive coach in the east.

I'm pretty sure he's a huge TN lean at this point.

A lot can change between now and February but expect a commitment to TN.

Yeah, I did. Cause, Wade, being a 5 star, top 10 prospect in the country most certainly would be playing over our guys.

I clearly said the others werent ready this year, whether injured or just not enough time under their belt. Doesnt mean I dont think Wade wouldnt be ready.

Not to mention that TN has a boatload of DBs in this class.

I think he will go to Pitt. I also think he is thinking 'Damn, I could go anywhere I want, I need to think about going somewhere cool'. Hard choice to make at that age. Most would look back and think how they shoulda stayed home so all their family could go to their games.

In a few years back when Urban Meyer looks back on his time at Ohio State he will pause and say to himself....How in the heck did we lose to Penn State in 2016.

Don't pull a muscle patting yourself or your program on the back for that win. It was more on Meyer and Ohio State losing it than anything else. Blowing an 21-7 fourth quarter lead shows that.

It was an epic fail on Ohio State and Urban Meyer. Nothing more, nothing less.

Always subject to change but he's announced he's committing on 12/17. And I believe he's said he wants to enroll early. If that holds we'll know long before February.

I see nothing that says he is a TN lean and feel he is PITT bound.

There really hasn't been much to indicate he's leaning anywhere. He has said early playing time is a factor and from what I've been told he feels he'll play early at Pitt. I am NOT saying he's coming to Pitt but Pitt is a player. There have been people saying Wade feels he's too good for Pitt - and that's just not true.

Then what does 10 - 49 prove? Besides being non-competitive, that is.

How is Butch Jones a mini Brian Kelly?

The most surprising thing is Urban had to go to 2OT'a 2 years ago and lost this year. For a guy who is supposedly one of the best in the game, he sure struggles with more talent against one who many here consider one of the worst

Gibby held Tech Tech to 10 pts,Oklshoma held them to 59 last weekend!!!!I'm shocked the job he's doing down here too.Wade would good in Blue&Gold don't you think?l

You can probably find a snapshot of every single coach in college football yelling.

I don't think Butch Jones is anything like Brian Kelly. I've never heard Butch throw his players under the bus the way Kelly has in recent weeks. His players seem to love him. (I'm talking about Butch)
