Wade to Pitt

By the way why would Wade go to UCLA last weekend if he already decided?? I think that's probably the worst thing he's done (unless he chooses UCLA). Hope Pitt is it

Yeah, obviously, but if so that's pretty unethical
Maybe but I'm sure UCLA would still have taken the opportunity to try and pitch to him face to face even if he said he everytine that he already knew. Things change pretty quick in recruiting. Look at Jeter.

I don't think its unethical at all. Coaches are begging a kid to come take a visit for months, and the kid is unethical for finally saying "OK, I'll come?" And BTW, just because a kid has decided in his own mind, he doesn't owe anyone anything until signing day, and has a right to change his mind even if he's verballed before signing day. And in Wade's case, he has even verballed yet. So if he has only 'sorta kinda' made up his mind, how is it unethical to window shop one more time?

And sometimes, these late visits cause a kid to change his mind even when he thought his mind was made up...which is exactly why coaches still invite kids after their minds are supposedly made up.

And when a kid who's verballed to a school decommits, it pisses me off when adults condemn the kid and call him immoral or unethical for doing so. These 17-year olds are being fawned upon, and manipulated by multi-million dollar coaches who want these kids to boost their own careers, and these coaches can pull an offer right up until signing day. So when I see these morons over on BWI trashing a kid who decommits and suggesting that the kid took a blood oath and is an immoral kid lacking in character, I really want to smack them.
