Didn't see anything on lamont wade since a possible transfer post a little while back, what's going on with that? Is he going to or did he transfer?

Correct - he has decided to stay. I believe he found out he would not be able to transfer without sitting out a year - so he decided to stay at PSU one more year.

He is going to graduate soon so he'll play this year at PSU and if its evident he'll never play meaningful snaps there, he'll grad transfer.

Even if he did want to transfer. Could Frankie blocked him from Pitt
I don't think so. But if he was struggling to get playing time at Nit U, one would think that Franklin wouldn't block his going to Pitt - if he could.

Besides, this is the final Pitt-UPS game for the foreseeable future; there's no way that he'd play against UPS even if he did transfer to Pitt.

Wade smade. Kid is old news to me. I'm glad he is graduating and getting his degree though. At present it doesn't appear he will be the play 3 go 1st round guy many pumped up his head to believe he would be. College can be an eye opening experience. He really could have benefited from a red shirt year.

Graduating already? I don't follow recruiting closely, but wasn't this the putz who had a signing party and charged a cover charge to get in? and a dad that ran his mouth? He just got recruited in 2016. So if he is graduating a year early from, what I assume is, a four year degree program, that's pretty impressive to me as an athlete.

he did in fact have an announcement party at a public venue that had a cover charge where he would announce his college choice even though, at the time, he was already enrolled as a student at psu (which somehow is on public record, don't ask me how).

not sure about the dad though. I think his uncle or something was on Clairton staff and tweeted out some stuff but I forget the details..

Why is it that I can remember some goofy 17 year old charging a cover charge 2.5 years ago, but can't remember where I put my car keys on a daily basis. Wonder if I can rename myself PerchADDman

Would we even want him on our defense though? Kid cant even get playing time up there and their defense stinks
Absolutely not. He’d be a very poor man’s Whitehead. Provide depth at boundary safety at best.

His high ranking was ridiculous. Should have stayed at RB and went to a low level D1 or D1-as school. In no way, shape or form was he a P5 caliber de back.

Yeah, I think he was a pretty good student. So don't take all of that and where he comes from and assume he is not an intelligent kid.

Tough to say this when he had offers to half the schools in the country and was rated highly on every site. CLEARLY almost everyone who does these evals (247, Rivals, ESPN, College coaches who don't base offers on recruiting rankings) thought highly of the kids potential.

I'd take him.
