Maybe I missed another thread on the subject but anyone that listened to the Wade interview think it was interesting that Wade and the interviewer did not mention PSU and/or Franklin. I know it's very early in the Wade recruiting process and PSU has plenty of time to get involved, if they already haven't, but I still find it odd Franklin wouldn't be all over Wade. Unless maybe it's known in the circles that if Wade stays close to home it's Pitt, WVU or OSU! And because it's obvious Franklin has obvious perception goals he would keep his dog out of a fight that might not be winnable or be tough! That makes Franklin a blowhard in most books but smart to the perception theorists! He can recruit but if he gets out recruited locally by anyone that might shake him up. he needs to win in year 3 and 4 or he's humiliated! If he wins big by year 4 hello NFL! Or, even better hello USC or LSU or FSU or ND or a few other places. That guy will not die in State College! Who on earth would want to live in the middle of nowhere like State College unless they had nowhere else to go! Bill O'Brien is normal! Unless you're only equipped to be a head football coach like the guy at WVU why would you ever live in places like Morgantown or State College! These places where built to live in for a very short period of time! If Franklin is in State College by the end of our series with them I predict two things. One he didn't set college football on fire and we beat them twice!
